Another day, another wander. Just seeing what there was to see.
I was walking along the high bank overlooking Phewa Lake when I spotted this wonderful collection of colourful boats moored below.
Reds, blues, greens and yellows, all pointing in different directions, seemingly piled together in a glorious jumble.
What caught my attention was the view from above.
Down at water level, they would have looked like ordinary boats. But from where I was standing, their shapes and colours made a completely different picture.
Organised chaos.
I loved the arrangement, the colours and the contrast with the open water alongside them.
So I took a photograph… just the one… and that was that.
There was still plenty more to see, and I wasn’t about to spend the afternoon photographing boats from every possible angle.
Fifty shades of oar, all tied up with nowhere to go.
Sometimes you see the picture, take it, and move along.
