No extraordinary wildlife behaviour here. No bird doing something daft.
Just me at Eaton Foreshore, having a bit of an arty-farty moment.
The sun was setting over the water, and I thought I’d have a play with the composition.
Rather than take another straightforward sunset photograph, I used the dark foliage to frame the sun and its reflection.
And yes, I’ll admit it. This time I really was trying to take a good picture!
I rather like how the branches create a little window onto the sunset, with that lovely golden reflection running down the middle.
Sometimes I photograph whatever happens to unfold in front of me. Other times I deliberately play around with how I want to show it.
This was one of those times.
Nothing terribly profound. Just a bloke with a camera, a nice sunset and an occasional artistic ambition!
And no, there isn’t an osprey hiding in there. Even if our filing system briefly insisted otherwise!
